Growing Communities in Scotland is a Big Lottery Fund partnership project which aims to promote and support community gardens, allotments, city farms and therapeutic gardening in Scotland.

Growing Communities in Scotland includes Trellis, The Federation of City Farms and Community Gardens (FCFCG) and the Allotments Regeneration Initiative (ARI) .

FCFCG exists to support, represent and promote community-managed farms and gardens across the United Kingdom.

ARI aims to support anyone who is creating an allotment and lobbies government and local authorities to create and save allotments across the UK

The Growing Communities Partnership has recently expanded their team of fieldworkers throughout Scotland to provide expertise, advice and greater support to therapeutic and community gardens. They will be contacting projects in the Trellis network, members of the FCFCG and ARI and setting up opportunities for projects to network.
