At the network meetings you get to know what happens in your area in your field of work. It gives you the opportunity to talk to like-minded people and share ideas and work methods.

Networking Event: ‘Grow the Future - Community Growing in the Highlands' 10am-4pm, 21 June 2013, Highland Council Chambers, Glenurquhart Road, Inverness, IV3 5NX
This day is for everyone who is interested in and/or active with community growing in Highland Region.
The day will include presentations from a range of community growing projects and workshops from people involved with Transition Black Isle, Moffat CAN and Glachbeg Education Croft. Topics covered will include income diversification, growing food throughout the year, community supported agriculture, volunteer management, community engagement and working with young people with different support needs on a community farm setting.   
There will be opportunities to speak with a range of funders and learn how to encourage local wildlife to flourish.
A Key Speech from Jean Urquhart MSP, updates from Community Woodland Association, Trellis and the FCFCG will contribute to the wider picture of community growing throughout Scotland and in the afternoon your contribution is required to consider how to make community growing work in the Highlands and how can Highland Council support and promote community growing?

Perthshire Networking Event - Wednesday 13 March 2013 6.30pm - 8.30pm   (FCFCG and Trellis)
Tay Room, Blackfriars Centre, North Port, Perth, PH1 5LU (opposite the North Inch). Presentation and workshop on Community Groups accessing land for growing.
This networking event is for anyone interested in/involved with therapeutic or community gardens, or green spaces used to improve health, well-being or for community benefit. The evening will include a presentation from the Community Land Advisory Service on common issues groups may face in accessing land and will be a great opportunity for people to network and share good practice with a variety of gardening projects in and around this area. If you have specific questions or issues you would like CLAS to address please e-mail in advance to morag@communitylandadvice.org.uk to ensure that the discussions are as useful as possible. This event is free but please book online here so we know how many people to expect. Light refreshments will be provided.
