The Hidden Gardens is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Interim Training Manager to provide support to two experienced trainers and stability to an existing partnership programme of vocational training in gardening for young people with a learning disability, during a critical phase of learning.
The successful candidate / organisation will liaise with strategic partners and oversee the delivery of the agreed outputs of the partnership arrangement with them.
Applicants will need to demonstrate experience in the following:
• Managing partnerships and collaborative working
• A track record in coordinating gardening learning opportunities
• Previous experience of supporting and supervising trainers
Hours are variable and a flexible approach to working is essential. PVG Scheme membership will be required. Applications are invited from individuals or organisations that meet the criteria and feel they can deliver the outputs.

The Carbon Reduction Coordinator will be responsible for the Engage, Embed and Empower (E3) project which is funded by the Climate Challenge Fund. The project is centred on Sustainability Hubs in the Ayr and Paisley Campuses of the UWS. These hubs will be focal points for increased carbon literacy, action on climate change and supporting our circular economy through the free tool hire service and free shops. They will also offer repair and upcycling workshops which are aimed at upskilling our community, empowering them to keep goods in use for as long as possible. The ultimate goal of all of our projects is to ensure the continued reduction of CO2 emissions within our community.
