Gardening for Wellbeing & Wildlife Trellis and CFINE hosted a brilliant networking seminar this weekend as part of Climate Week North East. This year the focus was on wildlife gardening – why encourage wildlife into your garden and how to. We also heard from two therapeutic gardens - Aberdeen Royal Infirmary: Robertson Family Roof Garden and the Aberdeen Alcohol & Drug Action Garden, to find out how they support wellbeing. Guests included Gavin Barrett, who led a session on Mindfulness & Wellbeing at lunchtime and Rob Donald, One Seed Forward who brought along his seed potatoes. Huge thanks to Jen and the team at the lovely venue Bonnymuir Community Garden & Café for the garden tour and making us so welcome.
