Spot Spring Sights! An invitation to look out of the window or take a walk outdoors and marvel at nature in Spring.
Simple nature based activities suitable for all ages and abilities.
To encourage engagement with the outdoors arrange chairs to see out of the patio doors or a window, get the binoculars out and start observing the weather and nature . Use the Spot Spring Sights activity sheet or find a poem to read aloud about Spring, encourage looking and naming what you see. Or better still get your coat on and have a walk round, take a brush to the garden path, fill up the bird feeder, feel the wind in your hair … enjoy the signs of Spring!
