This is a new post funded initially until 30 September 2019 Cyrenians NHS Community Gardens exist to improve the health of local communities, helping to reduce health inequalities through the delivery of therapeutic gardening and nature-based activities in hospital grounds. We are seeking a highly committed and organised person to coordinate the delivery of our therapeutic gardening and nature-based programmes from our two gardens located in hospital grounds in Edinburgh and Midlothian. The role will involve supporting a team of sessional staff and patient engagement volunteers to deliver workshops on hospital wards and in the garden. The post will also involve some service delivery and events management.
