West Calder & Harburn Community Development Trust and Polbeth & West Calder Community Garden wish to appoint a Development Officer to join their partnership staff team running volunteer, enterprise and wellbeing activities at our community garden and woodland. This a great opportunity to bring enthusiasm, energy and creativity to a volunteer facing role.

It will suit someone with a passion for helping people develop their skills and wellbeing, the environment and outdoor activities. You would be joining a friendly team of two within a supportive team of nine based in the community to deliver volunteer sessions across a range of abilities, ages and activities, develop educational opportunities and boost our enterprising activity in our growing, workshop and zero-waste projects. 

A candidate with the correct skills and experience may also be able to support our coordinator in project development support.
