Adaptive Tip Many of these lettuce and salad crop seeds are very small, except peas, which are larger and easy to see and handle. For groups who find fine motor control / finger movements difficult, add the tiny seeds to some dry sand in a small, shallow container like a cup. This makes it easier to take pinches or teaspoonfuls of sand and seed, to sow in the windowsill box.
