Many of these lettuce and salad crop seeds are very small, except peas, which are larger and easy to see and handle. For groups who find fine motor control / finger movements difficult, add the tiny seeds to some dry sand in a small, shallow container like a cup. This makes it easier to take pinches or teaspoonfuls of sand and seed, to sow in the windowsill box.
