The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivery in health, greenspace and/or community development settings. You will be a strong team player, with excellent interpersonal skills, and extensive experience of managing and coordinating partnership projects.
The postholder will be employed by greenspace scotland and co-managed by the Edinburgh & Lothians Health Foundation. The post is based with the Edinburgh & Lothians Health Foundation at the NHS Lothian offices at Waverley Gate, Edinburgh. This is a two-year fixed term appointment, with the potential for extension.

Greenspace Scotland worked with NHS Lothian, Edinburgh & Lothians Health Foundation and a wide range of partners and stakeholders to develop the Greenspace and Health Strategic Framework for Edinburgh & Lothians. This was published on 28 June 2019 and we believe it is the first Scottish health board-led Green Health Strategy.
We are now looking to recruit a Green Health Programme Manager to lead, coordinate and support delivery of the Strategy. This is an exciting and ground-breaking opportunity to realise the Vision and ambition of the Strategy: ‘Longer lives, better lived through our GreenSpace: Lothian’s natural health service’.
