No Cook - Green Tomato Salsa

The dull damp summer in the north of the UK means lots of green, un-ripe tomatoes. They're not tasty to eat off the vine but you can turn them into Green Tomato Salsa Verde! This no-cook tomato recipe is simple and delicious and comes courtesy of www.wonkywonderful.com. Perfect as a zesty side or paired with poppadoms or your favorite spicy meal.
This simple cooking activity connects individuals with the outdoors, encourages social interaction and conversation. It's a simple, nature-inspired activity that's accessible to people of all ages and skill levels.

Adaptive Tip Chopping fruit and vegetables can prove challenging for those with poor dexterity or small muscle strength. Try different tools to see what works for the individual  - sometimes using  a manual food chopper (see e.g. Pro Cook food chopper) can be easier for some, instead of a knife, and helps to protect fingers.
