Edinburgh and Midlothian based
Role
Cyrenians community gardens help to address the causes and consequences of homelessness by offering therapeutic activities that reduce isolation, improve physical and mental wellbeing and tackle health inequalities. We are currently based at Royal Edinburgh Hospital, Midlothian Community Hospital and the Astley Ainslie Hospital, with potential to expand to other NHS sites.
We are looking to recruit a passionate and creative manager to lead and shape these hospital-based community gardens services. Applicants must have experience of operational management, recruiting and supporting staff, building partnerships and developing needs-led services. Experience of fundraising is also essential. Our values of compassion, respect, integrity and innovation are central to how we deliver our services and we would like applicants to demonstrate this in their application.
