Project Manager (Therapy Garden, Growing Spaces, Table Top Gardening)

The post holder will be responsible for leading Badenoch and Strathspey Therapy Gardens’ project work, undertaking sessions in the Growing Spaces within the Am Fasgadh allotments; the Therapy Garden at Badenoch and Strathspey Community Hospital and Health Care Centre; within Newtonmore and Grantown Care Homes; and the Glen Centre.
The project aims to provide social and therapeutic horticulture to the different groups of service users who will have sessions in the Garden/s Growing Spaces or Care Homes/Day Centre. The project leader requires knowledge of gardening, not necessarily a qualification, but importantly, experience of working or volunteering with people who have a range of disabilities.
They will also be responsible for supervising and supporting a small team of volunteers and delivering training to them. The post holder will contribute to monitoring the policies and ensure effective recording, reporting and evaluation of the project.
