It’s been a dreach start to Autumn, but the sun shone for us last month at Ayrshire Cancer Support Drop-In Centre, Kilmarnock. September is prime Spring bulb planting time and the group today potted up bulb lasagnes using a selection of crocus, daffodils and tulip bulbs. Planting bulbs gives us hope for what the future holds, and allows us to have faith in the world around us – the bulbs will flourish 🤞And while we practice patience awaiting the first signs of the bulbs’ shoots peeking through the compost, we can enjoy the flowering winter violas.
Here's what session participant had to say:
"It's a very friendly open atmosphere led by Joan, Trellis. A new experience and a lovely pot to take home."
"I love the gardening sessions. Joan always makes it such a lovely time."
"My 2nd Trellis session. I always learn something new and go away with something that'll make me smile for months to come."
"This was lovely and calming. It has made me excited to see what will bloom and given me ideas for my garden. I'm really happy I gave this a go."
