We are currently developing a Professional Development Award that we hope will be available in 2026, and is likely to be based on a day release model. The exact delivery mechanisms have not been firmed up yet as we need to get through SQA approval, but I think there will be at least some in-person learning at the SRUC Elmwood campus, and some online. Professional Development
Trellis began running a Professional Development Forum in 2021. We've now joined forces with Thrive to create the Association for Social and Therapeutic Horticulture, a professional body to register STH practitioners in the UK.
We are hopeful that funding will be available for this course, but this is all dependent on SQA approval, and on the funding application processes that will be held by the host college(s) - again more information on criteria for access to funding to follow once we are further through the SQ approval processes.
