A Year in the Therapy Garden Badenoch & Strathspey
Hear about our varied work providing social and therapeutic horticultural activities at our Growing Spaces within a local allotment; Medical Centre garden; day centres and care homes, for people across our communities with a range of disabilities. Badenoch & Strathspey Therapy Gardens, started back in 2010, with a small steering group and progressed to becoming a charity in 2013. From a small patio area beside a local hospital, we have extended our activities, with the project manager now leading STH sessions at the Growing Spaces in Kingussie, and at table top gardening sessions for older people, in various locations. This year we are excited to be starting a therapy garden at the new hospital in Aviemore. Trellis are not charging a fee for this seminar which we do hope you have enjoyed, but you may wish to make a donation and you can do so via our website - Thank you Our Plastic-free Gardening book by Fiona Thackeray can also be purchased via our website. https://www.trellisscotland.org.uk/
